In Hollywood celebrities tend to lose weight, earn a big pay check and possibly have some form of cosmetic surgery or even plastic surgery sometime in their career.
For example, Pamela Anderson, former Baywatch babe, Playboy centerfold and original sex tape star, is without a doubt the Hollywood definition of the buxom ‘blonde who has more fun’. Yet over the years Anderson, 42, has altered her natural beauty with plastic surgery. Only admitting to having several breast enhancements, the PETA activist won’t concede to having any other work done. After reviewing recent photos of Anderson, Dr. Jennifer Walden (who has not personally worked on the star) believes she had collagen lip injections, while Dr. David Shafer, (who also has not worked on Pamela) believes she is "obviously no stranger to plastic surgery," according to MakeMeHeal.com. “Pressure from living in the limelight no doubted contributes to the desire to look as beautiful as possible,” said Elana Pruitt of Plasticsurgery.com. Hollywood is the only place you hear people say they want a fake ID to appear younger. With plastic surgeons bombarding radio commercials and billboards offering “lift and tummy tuck” combo specials for Mother’s Day, maybe plastic surgery is the Tinseltown norm. Plastic Surgery Objectives: Changes Should Be Slight and Go Unnoticed“The best plastic surgery is unseen,” explained Dr. Terry Dubrow in an interview with Plasticsurgery.com. “When a physician encounters a patient that desires surgery but clearly has already had enough, it is time to have a very frank discussion with the patient. It is important to recognize the point at which either nothing more can be done or nothing more should be done.” Unfortunately, if someone has enough money in Hollywood it’s easy to find a plastic surgeon willing to make them unrecognizable (i.e. Michael Jackson, Joan Rivers and Kenny Rogers.) “Dancing with the Stars” contestant Lil Kim (born Kimberly Denise Jones) is also another Hollywood celebrity who is unrecognizable due to numerous plastic surgery procedures. In fact, the film’s producers denied the pint-size diva to portray herself in the ‘Notorious’ biopic due to her altered appearance. What Happens When You Don't Look Like You Anymore?“Who can play me better than me?” Kim told producers. To her surprise they all finally agreed ex-3LW member Naturi Naughton could. “She looks nothing like the Lil Kim from 1996…people change in twelve years,” said ‘Notorious’ executive producers. Let’s face it. Lil Kim doesn't looks like Lil Kim anymore. How could she really argue? She’s noticeably had a nose job, breast implants and skin bleaching, not to mention her chin and lips look a lot different than when she released her first album Hard Core in 1996. Despite the rejection, the Lady Marmalade rapper initially supported the film during preproduction saying, “I wish nothing but the best for this movie because I will always have love for Biggie. Although my involvement was limited, I don’t hold a grudge”. Once the film was completed Kim told Hip Hop Weekly: "I’ve had enough and I'm about to expose them both... I've been quiet for a long timeI'm very disappointed in Faith [Evans]. There's nothing Faith or Ms. Wallace [Biggies Mother] could do to stop me from reppin' B.I.G. all day. I'm gonna always do that... It's time for Ms. Wallace to be exposed." Lil Kim’s claim to fame happened when Notorious B.I.G. discovered her in the streets of Brooklyn and brought her into his group, Junior Mafia. She catapulted into success with her sexually raunchy and groundbreaking verse off 1995’s Player’s Anthem, according to Vibe magazine. When it comes to plastic surgery, when is enough enough?
